Welcome to Andrew Carter (on the right) our new Treasurer. He’s lived within a 10 miles radius of Cheadle for nearly 40 years. Having owned and managed companies, and now approaching retirement, he wanted to help a local charity. Cheadle Foodbank had always been on his radar so he was delighted to find that we had a role where his skills would be utilised. He and his wife love rambling and of course our area is perfect for that.
Tony White, on the left, has graciously agreed to take on the role of Stock and Storage Manager temporarily until a replacement can be found – we’re very grateful! He hails from the village of Marchington and has recently retired from over 40 years in Healthcare IT and now wanted to make a difference to local families in crisis and knows the foodbank can make a positive impact. His son, daughter in law and 2 grandchildren live in Christchurch – so plenty of opportunity to visit the seaside!
We are very glad to have them both on board and look forward to the valuable contribution they will make to the Foodbank.
