Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.
Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved whether it sorting & dating donations, administration, meeting & greeting clients, whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis. Are you recently retired and looking for a new challenge? Well, you may just have found it!
Stock and Storage Manager
Currently we are actively looking for a volunteer Trustee to help us with stock management and storage. You do not necessarily need skills in this area, only a willingness to learn. Foodbank sessions are run on Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoons with limited amounts of time also required for committee meetings and management issues.
