WE ARE STILL OPERATING – The latest government advice explains food banks can legally continue operating provided we follow social distancing rules and as long as we have sufficient stocks of food and volunteers available.
Our main priority is to ensure, as far as possible, the safety of everyone who comes to the food bank – whether it’s someone needing help, someone volunteering their time, or someone making a donation. This means that we will do our best to ensure that wherever people are waiting – to make donations or to receive a food parcel – that they stay at least two metres apart and clients will receive a pre-packed food parcel. We will be open on Wednesday 9.30-11.00am and Friday 1.30 – 3.00 pm unless circumstances change.
